Amanda Waterhouse

Attorney Amanda Waterhouse is a graduate of Sam Houston State University and the University of Houston Law Center. She has been licensed since November of 2006 and practicing immigration law since 2007. Ms. Waterhouse is a founding partner of Waterhouse Dominguez & Strom, PLLC, which opened in May of 2021. Her previous experience includes 12 years at Reina & Bates Immigration & Nationality Law, where she rose to the position of senior associate prior to her departure, and two years at Gonzalez Olivieri, LLC, where she served as Supervising Attorney and Head of Litigation until departing to found her own firm. 

Ms. Waterhouse was honored by H Texas Magazine as one of Houston’s top lawyers in both 2019 and 2021. She was also named a Rising Star by Super Lawyers in 2021 and named one of the Top Young Attorneys in Texas by Texas Monthly Magazine in April of 2021. She is a frequent speaker at conferences and regular contributor to the State Bar of Texas Immigration Law Section “Immigration Bulletin” where she writes the quarterly update on new Fifth Circuit cases.  

Michael A. Dominguez

Attorney Michael A. Dominguez is a native of San Antonio, Texas with deep roots in South Texas. He attended college and graduate school at St. Mary’s University, obtaining a Bachelor’s in Political Science and a Master’s in Public Administration. Mr. Dominguez moved to Houston, Texas to attend South Texas College of Law. After obtaining his Juris Doctor in December of 2005, Mr. Dominguez worked as a law clerk at a well-established immigration law firm. After becoming licensed in May of 2006, he worked as a Public Defender in Webb County, Texas (Laredo), defending indigent clients. 

However, fate and opportunity brought him back to Houston in 2007 and he has practiced US immigration law exclusively since that time. His passion is helping clients and building long term relationships, in his capacity as a comprehensive immigration attorney. With over fifteen years of experience working at medium to large sized law firms, Mr. Dominguez has a depth of experience working within the field of family and business immigration law. Primarily representing small to medium companies and new businesses navigating immigration issues and compliance. His practice includes helping foreign nationals with nonimmigrant and immigrant investor options and practice encompasses nonimmigrant and immigrant visas, labor certification, citizenship, and the immigration implications relative to corporate restructuring. As well as helping individuals and families finding solution for permanent residency and naturalization. Including assisting clients who need to obtain immigrant and nonimmigrant waivers. 

After working with medium to large sized immigration firms, Mr. Dominguez decided to join with other like-minded and experienced immigration attorneys to build a new firm with a client centric vision. One dedicated helping clients successfully navigate our nations complicated immigration laws. 

William Collier Strom

Attorney William Collier Strom is a native Houstonian and developed a passion for culture and international travel early in life. After receiving his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of St. Thomas, Attorney Strom decided to continue his studies and also earned a Master’s degree in Business Administration.

Prior to attending law school, Attorney Strom worked in several different roles at law firms in the Houston area. He has participated in a wide variety of cases involving insurance subrogation, capital murder defense, guardianships, divorce, and medical malpractice. While in law school, Attorney Strom earned awards for academic achievement and was given the opportunity to attend a program held by the State Bar of Texas Access to Justice division in Austin, Texas. Prior to founding Waterhouse Dominguez & Strom, PLLC Attorney Strom worked as a litigation attorney at Gonzalez Olivieri, LLC handling complex divorces and international custody disputes along with a variety of immigration matters.

The experience Attorney Strom has gained throughout his career allows him to provide top notch and adept legal solutions to Waterhouse Dominguez & Strom, PLLC’s clients. He has a proven track record of success as an adept litigator and is a tenacious advocate for our clients.
